Description
Overview
The Action & Advocacy Bundle transforms civics and literacy into tools for empowerment. Designed for middle and high school students, these units guide learners through analyzing systems of power, developing strong evidence-based arguments, and taking meaningful civic action in their communities. By combining writing, research, and organizing, students learn that advocacy is a practice of agency and collective responsibility.
Rooted in WAESN’s Ethnic Studies Framework, this bundle highlights the themes of Action & Reflection, Power & Oppression, and Identity & Agency, supporting students in connecting personal experience to public voice.
