We have developed an 18 hour professional learning series to prepare educators to teach Ethnic Studies available as nine virtual modules, facilitated by our Executive Director, Tracy Castro-Gill.

Join a Professional Learning Community

WAESN is proud to host virtual professional learning communities designed to provide collaborative spaces for Ethnic Studies educators to dig deep into their practice.

Join Our Round Table Conversations

Each month WAESN hosts a special guest and has a round table conversation about the contents of each PD Module. Participants can engage in a Q & A. It’s a great way to introduce yourself or go deeper into the contents of the PD Series.

Youth Activist Academy

Current and aspiring youth activists, ages 12-16, are invited to join us for a week-long summer academy focused on becoming anti-racist youth leaders. Course offerings will be led by anti-racist adults and youth!
