    Ready to move beyond the sidelines? The Youth Power Lab is WAESN’s premier statewide initiative designed to turn lived experience into systemic power. This is a community-rooted leadership pipeline where young leaders get the mentorship, structural support, and professional tools needed to drive real policy change in Washington’s K–12 schools.

  • Summer Institute

    New Freeway Hall 5018 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA, United States

    A five-day, immersive professional learning experience for K–12 educators committed to teaching Ethnic Studies with integrity and depth. Participants engage with WAESN Modules 1–3, explore pan–Ethnic Studies frameworks, strengthen liberatory pedagogies, and build confidence teaching intersecting racial and ethnic histories. Includes up to 36 clock hours and a free WAESN lesson plan.
