WAESN Inaugural Dance Party

Come boogie your worries away for a night at Washington Ethnic Studies Now’s (WAESN’s) inaugural Dance Party! We are a local nonprofit dedicated to bringing ethnic studies to all K-12 classrooms in Washington.

Join us at Black and Tan Hall on December 1st from 7pm to midnight for a night of dance, drinks, drag, and disco. In addition to our MC, the fabulous Deaunte Damper, we will have local drag performers and gogos providing entertainment, speakers, DJs, and a couple of special political piñatas you can take your rage out on.

We will also have a costume competition, so start working on those fits! The three categories are:

1) Bring it in your best political satire fit
2) Teacher realness
3) Best overall costume

With Democrats’ virtue signaling with empty promises to tax the rich and Republican candidates promising to cut funding for public education and being indicted, WAESN’s role in holding politicians accountable is more important than ever. Ticket prices are sliding scale with limited quantities at each level, so get your tickets now!

Don’t worry about getting messy, sweaty, and wild, as this event will be 21+, so you won’t run into any of your current students.
